During the 26th Legislature a number of new Standing Committees, also known as Policy Field Committees, were formed with mandates relating to specific issues. Although these committees ceased to exist upon the dissolution of the 26th Legislature a number of reports were completed and tabled in the House prior to the dissolution of the 26th Legislature.
