Minister of Children and Youth Services

Yvonne Fritz was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta in 1993 as Member for Calgary-Cross.

Now in her fifth term as MLA, Yvonne Fritz is Minister of Children and Youth Services. Before entering provincial politics, she was a City of Calgary Alderman in one of Canadas largest civic ridings and worked as a registered nurse for over 20 years.

Mrs. Fritz served previously as Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Minister of Seniors and Community Supports, and as Associate Minister of Housing and Urban Development.

Yvonne Fritz is married to Lanny; they have two grown children.
