Terry Cass: Stone Carver,

Terry Cass is a western Canadian artist, currently living in Nanton, Alberta who has had a lifelong interest in North American wildlife. He spends much of his time in the mountain and lake regions of western Canada observing wildlife.
Terry has been carving stone for over 30 years and has developed a style of carving which ranges from contemporary to realistic. His carvings are created from various types of stone from all parts of the world. Terry favours the use of alabaster and soapstone from Brazil, South Africa, Kenya and China. His method of using various colour combinations of this stone in his wildlife carvings makes them unique and attractive.
Terry´s original stone designs reflect the great pleasure and enjoyment he derives from creating these distinctive works of art.
