 Legislature Building Restoration

Alberta's Legislature Building will be undergoing minor interior restoration this summer. Guided building tours will continue as scheduled but access to some areas of the building will be limited. We appreciate your patience. Tours are every hour from 9 a.m. to noon and every half-hour from 12:30 p.m. Last tour 4 p.m.

Travelling Exhibits

June 29 to August 26 - Architecture and Power Exhibit

This exhibit showcases the legislative buildings of Canada's capital cites through interesting content, contemporary paintings, and historical and modern photographs. Citizens and visitors to Canada can learn about the nation's capitals as well as the characteristics and architecture of these marvellous buildings. The exhibit is on loan from the Commission de la capitale nationale du Québec and the will be located in the Legislative Assembly Interpretive Centre in the east-west pedway from June 29 to August 26. Open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekends and holidays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (noon to 5 p.m. on Canada Day).
