The “Legoslature” - at the Alberta Legislature and here to stay!
Starting February 18, 2008, (Family Day) you can get an up-close, bird’s eye view of the ornate Beaux Arts style Alberta Legislature Building - in LEGO!
The “Legoslature” stands at 1 meter high and is constructed from 120,000 LEGO parts! Built at a scale of 1:40 to the actual building, the model was created by the Northern Alberta LEGO Users and took more than 3,000 hours to complete.
The model is permanently located in the East-West Ped way of the Legislature Building, where visitors can view the model and then compare its elaborate detail to the real building.
Viewing this marvelous model will surely bring out the kid in you!
