Mandate

The Select Special Conflicts of Interest Act Review Committee is an all-party committee consisting of 11 members. By December 1, 2012, it must undertake a comprehensive review of the Conflicts of Interest Act, as provided in section 48 of that Act. The Committee must submit to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, within one year after beginning the review, a report that includes any amendments recommended by the Committee.

Call for Submissions

If you would like to share your thoughts on the Act please provide a written submission by March 1, 2013.

  • All submissions and the identities of the authors will be available to the public.
  • A brief executive summary of lengthy submissions is appreciated.
  • Public hearings may be held at a later date. Please indicate in your submission if you would like to be considered to make a presentation.
