Nicholas Milliken was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Calgary-Currie, on April 16, 2019. On May 21, 2019, he was elected to serve as Deputy Chair of Committees.
He is currently a member of the Select Special Committee on Real Property Rights and was previously the chair of the Select Special Public Health Act Review Committee.
Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Milliken was a practising lawyer and business owner in Calgary.
Mr. Milliken holds his juris doctor degree from the University of Saskatchewan as well as his bachelor of arts and bachelor of commerce from the University of Alberta.
An active community member and family man, Mr. Milliken lives in Calgary-Currie with his wife, Christine, and their young son. In his spare time he enjoys playing the drums and running.
He was the 928th Member to be sworn in to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
