Learning at the Legislature provides meaning and context for units on government and the parliamentary process that a classroom setting never could.

There is no cost for the School at the Legislature program. There is no reimbursement for costs related to meals, accommodations or transportation that might be incurred during the program.

Planning Session Included

Teachers participate in an orientation session in August during which they visit the site, meet the Education Coordinator and begin planning their program week. Teachers prepare a week's worth of lessons and choose from available activities, interviews and presentations.
