Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism
Miranda Rosin was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Banff-Kananaskis, on April 16, 2019.
On October 24, 2022, she was sworn in as Parliament Secretary of Tourism.
Ms. Rosin serves as Chair of the Select Special Ombudsman and Public Interest Commissioner Search Committee and the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Private Bills.
She previously served as the Deputy Chair for the Select Special Public Health Act Review Committee and the Select Special Ombudsman and Public Interest Commissioner Search Committee. She was also a member of the following:
- Select Special Committee to Examine Safe Supply
- Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship
- Standing Committee on Public Accounts
- Standing Committee on Legislative Offices
- Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future
Before serving with the Legislative Assembly, Ms. Rosin worked for Coca-Cola Refreshments Canada as a market development manager and for Re/Max Crown Real Estate as a digital media coordinator.
Active in the community, she was involved in the Canmore Young Adult Network and has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and the Regina Food Bank.
Ms. Rosin holds a bachelor of business administration from the University of Regina and took part in a study abroad program with Shanghai Lixin University of Commerce in Shanghai, China.
She was the 936th Member to be sworn in to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
