BOOKING POLICY

  • Bookings are subject to change based on the business of the Legislative Assembly. Groups will be informed of any changes made to the start or end times of their programs, or if what they booked is no longer available. Groups may not be notified if the order of their programming changes.

  • Late arrivals to the designated time and place on the booking will reduce the amount of time the Visitor Services staff has to deliver the program.

  • Students, teachers, and chaperones are expected to behave in a respectful manner towards Visitor Services staff, Members of the Legislative Assembly, and all other staff.
  •

  • Participants must not mis-represent their identity, engage in any bulling or harassing behaviors, and must ensure their comments are respectful of different viewpoints.

  • Every booked group must have a teacher or chaperone present with every class.

  • Managing the behaviour of disruptive students is the responsibility of the teachers.

  • Groups that do not follow these guidelines will be asked to modify their behaviour and, in some situations, may be asked to leave the program. This may impact the overall length of your programming.

  • We will follow up with the school’s administrator in the event of unacceptable behaviour.

  • Information collected in the Booking Request Form is subject to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta website Privacy Statement.
