Committee appoints members to electoral boundaries advisory panel

EDMONTON — The Select Special Committee on Electoral Boundaries has appointed the following individuals to the Independent Advisory Panel in accordance with clause C (d) (ii) (B) and (C) of Government Motion 37:

• Dr. Gerard Kennedy and Brent Robinson, on nomination of the Leader of His Majesty’s Loyal Opposition
• Hon. Monte Solberg and Darwin Durnie, on nomination of the Premier and President of Executive Council

The panel is mandated to review Alberta’s electoral boundaries and make recommendations regarding the areas, boundaries and names of electoral divisions, in accordance with clause C(e) of Government Motion 37.
Government Motion 37 was passed by the Legislative Assembly of Alberta on April 21, 2026.
