Parliamentary Secretary for Civil Liberties
Tracy Allard was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Grande Prairie, on April 16, 2019.
On December 13, 2022, Mrs. Allard was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Civil Liberties.
She is also the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund and a member of the Standing Committees on Alberta’s Economic Future and Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing.
She served as Minister of Municipal Affairs from August 25, 2020, to January 4, 2021.
Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly, Mrs. Allard was a business owner, having franchised Tim Hortons restaurants in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, and in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Active in her community, she served as a director with the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. She was board president of the Grande Prairie Boys’ Choir and sat on the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation Capital Cabinet.
She holds a bachelor of commerce and a certificate in disability management, both from the University of British Columbia.
Mrs. Allard is a two-time recipient of a friends of education award from the Grande Prairie public school district and Le Conseil scolaire du Nord-Ouest, respectively.
She and her husband, Serge, have three children.
Mrs. Allard was the 912th Member to be sworn in to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
