The Honourable Rebecca Schulz was re-elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta on May 29, 2023, representing the constituency of Calgary-Shaw.
Ms. Schulz previously served as Minister of Municipal Affairs, Minister of Children’s Services as well as Minister of Environment and Protected Areas.
Before serving with the Legislative Assembly Schulz was a communications professional, working most recently as director of alumni marketing and communications at the University of Calgary. She also has experience working as a director of communications for the Ministry of Education with the Government of Saskatchewan.
Ms. Schulz holds a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan. Her community involvement includes roles as a director with boards for the Regina Symphony Orchestra and Dress for Success Regina, as well as coaching with Girls in the Game.
Ms. Schulz and her husband, Cole, have two children.
She was the 942nd Member sworn into the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.
