Spring/Summer Drop-in Programs


Discover the symbols, traditions and stories that shape Alberta, through creativity and play.

Programs offered Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., near the spray park on the Legislature Grounds (activities will be held in the Queen Elizabeth II Building on rainy days). Activities include crafts, games, and more. 

All ages are welcome.

Legislature Building Notice:


The Legislative Chamber and Galleries are currently closed for maintenance and will not be open for viewing during public tours. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Public entrance to the Legislature is located on the west side of the building.
Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled guided tour.

  • Wednesday to Friday - 3 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday - 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., and 2 p.m.

Visitor Centre:

  • Wednesday to Sunday - 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Capital Gifts:

  • Monday to Friday - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday - 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Times may vary during holidays, special events and facility maintenance.
